Join me for a morning of Qigong, meditation and mindful walking.

We will begin in the sunhouse for a guided breath practice to open our lungs and increase awareness of our breath. Followed by a mindful walk in the beautiful forest nearby, connecting with our five senses and taking in the beauty of the season. We will come back in to the cabin for a Qigong movement practice to support our lungs and a healthy immune system finishing with some nourishing drinks and snacks around a warm wood fire.

Autumn is the season of the Metal Element associated with our lungs, our skin, the element of Air and of course our breath. It is a great time of year to give your lungs some extra support helping to boost your immune system, releasing stress and physical tension, and making space for the fresh life force energy to flow through your whole body.

Breath is life, it is the energy or “Qi” that sustains life within every cell. When we breathe well our entire body receives the energy it needs. When we reconnect with our breath we become calm, aware and in control and we can begin to bring balance to our lives and access places of deep peace within.
