Workshops

We at the sunhouse are passionate about healing work and central to this is our desire to empower others to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing. To help each of us become aware of our own healing process, to recognise when our bodies are out of balance and to find ways to bring ourselves back to health. To help each of us step in to being the magnificent beings we truly are!

We run a range of workshops for all levels ranging from teaching how to do a simple shiatsu treatment for another, to working with our own healing Qi through Qigong and learning self-healing energy medicine techniques to use on ourselves on a daily basis. These workshops are a great way to deepen our understanding of our own health and to have some fun at the same time.

ELEMENTAL QIGONG

This will be a chance to dive a little deeper into Qigong and the Five element theory of Chinese medicine. Qigong is a great way to quieten the mind and drop into the expansiveness of the body.

In these workshop I will introduce the Chinese Five element system and we will work through different qigong practices so we can experience how each of the elements exist within our own bodies energetic system.

We will use different Qigong movements, sounds and meditations helping us to recognise when we are out of balance and to find ways to help us feel more aligned, energised and connected.

TESTIMONIAL

“I feel very privileged to have received so much knowledge in such beautiful surroundings……and at such a reasonable price (I couldn’t have done it otherwise!). THANK YOU” Ann

“Thank YOU for a wonderful workshop today. I loved the way you explained everything and then got us energised. I thought the way you broke down the training into three seemingly ‘stand alone’ components that followed through, and were so skillfully managed, was a wonderful way to help complete beginners immerse themselves with confidence into the practice. The group dynamic was beautiful”  Philomena
