NEW CLASSES IN CARDIFF CITY CENTRE

Holland and Barrett are having a rebrand they have a new “flag ship” store in Queen Street, Cardiff complete with a brand new wellness studio. They have invited me to be a part of this, to bring some soul inspired Tai Chi – Qigong and Breathwork in to the city. 

I will be bringing the essence of the Sunhouse with me spreading new roots into the city and sharing these wonderful practices.

I will be offering two classes on a Wednesday Evening.

Qi Flow Class – Wednesday 5.30-6.25pm 

Qi Flow classes combine the ancient practices of Tai Chi & Qigong designed to balance both mind and body.  Working with your ‘Qi’ or life-force energy, you will learn how to control the flow and distribution of energy with simple movements, posture, breathing and awareness. Helping to restore your energy, calm your nervous system, and move through life with more ease.

Qi-Flow is a gentle yet powerful practice that has shown to have many health benefits. 

  • Reduces stress and anxiety
  • Moves and balances life energy or Qi
  • Improves immune system
  • Balances our internal organs
  • Cultivates vitality and strength

In these classes Emma will be sharing a range of simple, gentle, flowing Tai Chi/Qi Gong forms which synchronises movements with the breath. Each movement opens the body’s different meridian pathways, allowing your energy to flow freely and easily. It is very relaxing and a joy to do.

Open to all ages, experience and physical capabilities.

Breathwork and Meditation – Wednesday 6.30-7.30pm

The way we breathe affects everything we do, everything we think and everything we feel. It affects our sleep, our digestion, our immune system, our energy levels, our emotions, our ability to think clearly and our relationships, to name but a few.

When we place our conscious attention on our breath we can use it to help regulate our nervous system, we can learn to relax and calm ourselves or to energise and motivate ourselves.  Giving us the tools to move through life feeling stronger, better and more full of joy.

Breathwork is simply bringing our conscious attention to our breath and is one of the most powerful ways we have to change our state at any given moment. 

In these sessions Emma will introduce you to a range of different breath techniques to help you to breathe better and live better.

Class will begin with some gentle movements to open your body and release tension from the day. Emma will then guide you into a range of powerful breathing practices to energise your body, boosting oxygen flow and releasing stress. 

Each session will finish with 20mins guided meditation to relax your body and calm your mind.
